What world do we want to create for our daughters and sons? This is the question we set out to answer with the Brussels Declaration for Gender Equal Society.

What policies do we need, what societal changes? Where do we need to end bias, change structures, reinvent narratives to create a more gender equal world?

What if 135 more years to gender equality are not an option? If we need to speed up the change, especially in the world how we find it today, with more and more mysoginistic tendencies arising all around the globe?

At EWMD, together with our cooperation partners, we set out to be sparring partners for the European Parliament and Commission when it comes to gender equality.
This evening will explain how we started, what manifesto we came up with, what we have been doing in Brussels so far and what our goals are.
