on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., we cordially invite you to the virtual “Presidents Pick” – this time with a voice that combines clarity, courage, and social vision like no other: Dr. Emilia Roig.

Dr. Emilia Roig is a political scientist, bestselling author (Why We Matter, The End of Marriage, Loving and Dear Son, or How to Save the World), and one of the most influential voices for social justice and transformation. In her works, she challenges us to recognize the structures that shape our thinking and actions – and to consciously make new decisions. She says, “We can only change systems if we understand how they work.” This is exactly where our conversation begins.

EWMD Germany President Birgit Jünger moderates the discussion on 

- how real change begins, rather than ending with cosmetic reforms

- what intersectionality means in practice – beyond buzzwords (“Intersectionality means seeing people's reality in its entirety.”)

- why leadership is always political and why every decision has a social impact

 - what role lived diversity plays in organizations (“Diversity is not an add-on – it is the foundation of just systems.”)

- and how you, as a leader, decision-maker, or designer, can influence the future.

am Dienstag, 24. Februar 2026 von 18:00–19:00 Uhr laden wir dich herzlich zum virtuellen "Presidents Pick" ein – dieses Mal mit einer Stimme, die wie kaum eine andere Klarheit, Mut und gesellschaftliche Vision verbindet: Dr. Emilia Roig. 

Dr. Emilia Roig ist Politikwissenschaftlerin, Bestseller-Autorin (Why We Matter, Das Ende der Ehe, Lieben und LIEBER SOHN oder So rettest du die Welt) und eine der einflussreichsten Stimmen für soziale Gerechtigkeit und Transformation. In ihren Werken fordert sie uns auf, die Strukturen zu erkennen, die unser Denken und Handeln prägen – und bewusst neue Entscheidungen zu treffen. Sie sagt: „Wir können Systeme nur verändern, wenn wir verstehen, wie sie funktionieren.“ Genau hier setzt unser Gespräch an.
