Artificial Intelligence is rapidly transforming the way we work. But how can you integrate AI into your daily tasks in a meaningful and responsible way?
In line with EWMD’s 2026 motto “Now. Build. Tomorrow. Together.”, this intensive one-day training invites participants to explore how AI can already support the way we work today while building the skills needed for the future of work.
During this practical training, participants will learn how to use Microsoft Copilot effectively within their everyday professional environment. Through concrete examples, clear prompt techniques and realistic business scenarios, you will discover how Copilot can become a valuable assistant across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
The focus of the training is hands-on learning and practical application. By the end of the day, participants will not only understand what Copilot can do, but also how to use it confidently and purposefully for their own work context.
Training objective
This training enables participants to use Microsoft Copilot confidently, efficiently and responsibly within their daily work environment. You will learn how to formulate effective prompts, understand the capabilities and limitations of AI tools, and apply Copilot in real business situations to increase productivity and support everyday tasks.
During the session you will work with Copilot in several Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Forms and Loop, mainly through the web interface where Copilot is optimized.
Key topics
Understanding what Microsoft Copilot is – and what it is not
Using Copilot across Microsoft 365 applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
Structuring, summarizing and improving business content with AI
Analyzing and preparing data with Copilot
Prompt techniques that deliver reliable and useful results
Learning outcomes
By the end of the training, participants will be able to:
Understand what Microsoft Copilot can realistically do today and where its limits are
Write structured prompts that produce reliable and useful results
Use Copilot effectively across Microsoft 365 applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
As a result, participants will be able to start using Copilot in a focused and meaningful way within their own daily work environment
Target audience
This training is designed for knowledge workers across departments and industries, including specialists, managers, project workers, service professionals and teams already working with Microsoft 365.
Participants should already have, or plan to obtain by April 20th, a Microsoft 365 Copilot license for Work, as the training focuses on the practical use of the tool within the Microsoft environment and Copilot needs to synchronize with your data in order to work effectively during the training.
Requirements to attend the training
Have a laptop or desktop
Have an active Copilot license for M365 (separate license - not the regular chat)
Have a stable internet connection
Trainer
The training will be led by Beate Roos, AI & Beyond Consulting, an expert in practical AI applications for organizations and professionals who want to integrate AI tools responsibly and effectively into their workflows.
Certification
After completing the training, participants will receive a Certificate of Participation issued jointly by AI & Beyond Consulting and EWMD, confirming their newly acquired skills in working with Microsoft Copilot.
Training details
Date: April 22nd, 2026
Time: 09:00 – 17:00 CET (including 1.5 hours of breaks)

As part of EWMD’s commitment to supporting professional development and future-ready skills, we are offering this training to our network at a significantly reduced rate.
EWMD Members can participate for €300 net (+19% VAT). This means our members receive access to a high-level professional training at 75% below the market price, a concrete example of the value EWMD aims to create for its members and their professional growth.
Because we also value the wider EWMD community, we extend a special reduced rate to non-member participants as well. Non-members can join the training for €600 net (+19% VAT), which is 50% below the market price.
Limited seats – secure your spot early
To ensure a highly interactive and hands-on learning experience, the training is limited to only 10 participants.
This small group format allows participants to work directly with the trainer, ask questions, and apply Copilot to real work scenarios throughout the day. Places are therefore very limited and expected to fill quickly.
In case of more than 10 applicants, an additional training date will be announced.
If you want to strengthen your AI skills and learn how to use Microsoft Copilot effectively in your daily work, we encourage you to secure your spot as soon as possible!
